"Sendero" means trail or path. You'll see this word on park signs throughout Latin America.

Todos están abiertos. Le recomiendo el sendero al mirador, son dos horas ida y vuelta.
TOH-dohs ehs-TAHN ah-BYEHR-tohs leh reh-koh-MYEHN-doh ehl sehn-DEH-roh ahl mee-rah-DOHR sohn dohs OH-rahs EE-dah ee VWEHL-tah
All of them are open. I recommend the trail to the lookout — it's two hours round trip.

¿Es difícil el camino? ¿Necesito llevar algo especial?

Is the path difficult? Do I need to bring anything special?
Ranger
Es moderado. Traiga agua, protector solar y zapatos cerrados. No se salga del sendero marcado.

It's moderate. Bring water, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes. Don't leave the marked trail.
"Zapatos cerrados" (closed-toe shoes) are required at many parks for safety on rocky terrain.
You
Entendido. ¿Hay un mapa del parque que pueda llevar?
ehn-tehn-DEE-doh eye oon MAH-pah dehl PAHR-keh keh PWEH-dah yeh-VAHR
Understood. Is there a park map I can take with me?
Park offices ("oficina del parque") usually have free maps. Grab one — cell signal is often unreliable in parks.
