This is the most natural way to ask about someone's job in Latin America. More common than "¿Cuál es tu trabajo?"

Many job titles change with gender: "profesor" (male) / "profesora" (female). Adjust to match your gender.

"Trabajo desde casa" (I work from home) has become very common. "Desde" means "from" or "since."
